Château Le Bon Pasteur

Château Le Bon Pasteur

Pomerol

SAS Le Bon Pasteur

The estate was founded in the 1920s by Michel Rolland’s grandparents. It changed hands and came under foreign ownership in 2013.

A STORY

In few words

Since 1979, Michel Rolland has implemented the innovations and techniques that have made him one of the world’s most renowned winegrowers, winemakers and, later, consultants.

That spirit of innovation and the pursuit of excellence live on. Michel Rolland passed away on 20 March 2026, leaving an indelible mark that is evident in the precision and charm of our blends. We are now the custodians of an immense legacy, proud to carry on the spirit of a man who gave so much to the world of wine.

Today, Julien Viaud, who had partnered with Michel Rolland in this role of technical expertise, brings us his broad and contemporary vision.
For over 10 years, the team has been led by Benoît Prévot, who has devoted the last thirty years of his life to serving this estate.

Two unique expressions of the Pomerol terroir, Château Le Bon Pasteur and L’Etoile de Bon Pasteur, have been produced in every vintage since 2013.
